Bite Prevention

It's important to work on bite prevention proactively, because if you wait until a bite happens, both humans and dogs suffer.

Each day about 1,000 U.S. citizens require emergency care for dog bite injuries. One of the most important things you can do reduce the risk of a dog bite is to educate children on how to interact properly with dogs.

That's why I wrote the book How to Be Your Dog's Best Friend. This is a children's book that features lessons on how to read a dog's body language and how to communicate and build trust.
